Lester Breslow MD, the former Dean of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) wrote an article more than 25 years ago lamenting at the state of healthcare at the time. He was upset at the ‘fragmented’ way medicine was practiced and put forward the idea of a Lifetime Health Assessment whereby data from the client would be kept and tracked in an ongoing manner. This paper inspired us to begin the development of the Lifetime Health Assessment and Monitoring Program (LHAMP). Our proprietary Age Management software allows us to upload all data onto the cloud. We use the I.N.T.E.G.R.A.L. acronym to divide the LHAMP into the 8 essential lifestyle sections so health indicators and biomarkers can be tracked so that predictive and preventive action can be taken for each client. Mobile-health can further augment the LHAMP so that a persons health (and interventions) can now be tracked in real time 24/7, 365 days a year.
